“With constant yoga practice, one can improve one’s physical body and mental attitude rapidly, thereby igniting the higher motives of making oneself useful to all mankind,” says living yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra.
Sri Dharma shares his lifetime of experience to help you successfully learn and adapt yogic teachings for a richer and more meaningful daily life. His challenging yet meditative Dharma II, III & IV Shiva Namsakara Vinyasa practices are unique sequences which unfold complete movement in the spine, unleashing powerful life force. The result is a purification of the body’s toxins, increased stamina, an end to weight problems and disease, and higher states of health and well-being. Ancient breathing and sound techniques, deep relaxation, and guided meditations complete our practice.
The weekend also includes an asana satsang jam, kirtan, question-and-answer sessions, and spiritual discourses on the laws of karma, reincarnation, and yogic diet.
Bring a yoga mat, cushion for meditation, and comfortable clothes. Sri Dharma Mittra is also part of Being Yoga; August 20-22, 2010.
Legendary “teacher’s teacher” Sri Dharma Mittra has been teaching daily since 1967 and currently teaches at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City. Recognized worldwide for his Master Yoga Chart of 908 Postures, he is author of Asanas and creator of the DVDs Maha Sadhana Level 1 and Level 2. dharmayogacenter.com
