This is not your average summer camp for 13-17 year olds.
Every day we offer a variety of activities, workshops, and experiences. Some are the kind you'd expect at camp—swimming, boating, basketball, bonfires. Most are a little different—high ropes courses, yoga, mural painting, dance (hip-hop, African, salsa, and modern), songwriting, meditation, sweat lodges, firewalking, thai massage, performance art, creative writing, filmmaking, drumming, and more.
Here's how it works: You choose. Enthusiastic young teachers and seasoned professionals from among Omega's best-working artists, educators, and activists—offer engaging, hands-on experiences and share approaches to living life with confidence and courage. Focus on a particular skill or area of interest, or try out a number of different things during your stay.
Do something different this summer. Join Omega for Teens in Holmes, New York—one hour north of New York City—on 450 country acres complete with a lake and pond, swimming pool, sports fields, woods, trails, a fire pit, cabins, a dining hall (with our own chefs serving great food), and lots of hang-out spaces.
Registration: A minimum deposit of $500 is required for all registrations. Register by February 13, 2009 for a 10% discount.
Please note: There are two other camp sessions:
July 19 - August 1: Session A (two weeks)
August 5-August 16: Session B (two weeks)
