If you are interested in volunteering, please indicate that when you register and you will be notified if we can use your services. Volunteers are expected to pay the full registration price.
Do I have to pre-book or can I just arrive on the day of the event?
You are required to register in advance. Register early; the event is likely to sell out.
Can I come to the event for just half a day?
No, you must attend for at least one full day. It is recommended that you attend for as long as you can, given the numerous processes that might take place to aid your healing.
Can I/Should I come to the event for more than one day?
Yes. The more time spent around the energy of the Entities the more benefit you are likely to receive. Much of the healing work takes place sitting in the meditation rooms, also called the current rooms. Sitting in these rooms promotes your own healing and also gives back energy to the Entities, acting as a sort of battery for them to draw on.
What if I am bringing someone in a wheelchair?
Omega's campus, though slightly hilly, is handicapped accessible. There will be special areas in each meditation room set aside for people in wheelchairs.
Can I bring my children?
Because of the nature of the work, in order for you to get the maximum benefit from your visit, and to minimize disturbance to other participants, bringing children is not encouraged. However, you may bring children if you intend to bring them before John of God for healing. Children over 12 are charged the regular admission price. Children ages 2-12 are charged for housing only. Omega's Children's Program is not available this week.
What is the daily schedule?
There are two sessions each day. The morning session runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The afternoon session runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Why do we need to wear white clothing?
Participants are encouraged to wear white or light-colored, loose-fitting clothing, as the Entities say they can better assess and work with the energy fields of people dressed this way.
Is it the same as going to the Casa de Dom Ignįcio in Brazil?
Not exactly. The daily procedures will be very similar but the site of the Casa de Dom Ignįcio in Brazil has its own particularly strong energy that assists with the healing process. Also, because of New York state laws, there will be no visible surgery at this event and the herbs that are typically prescribed after treatment will not be available.
What sort of conditions does Medium Joćo claim to heal?
Medium Joćo does not claim to heal anyone. "It is not me who cures, God is the Healer. I am simply the vessel," he says. Joćo is merely a vehicle through which healing agents (the Entities) work. Those seeking healing on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels come before Medium Joćo. People often come before the Entities with relationship or career problems or simply because they feel stuck in some area of their life. It is not necessary to specify to the Entity the particular problem; they already know what your needs are. However, some find it useful to write down their issues and carry the paper with them to help them focus.
Will Medium Joćo be able to heal me?
It is said at the Casa, "all things are possible." Healing has 3 elements: the assistance of the Entities, God's will, and the active involvement of the participant. Many people have been healed. Some notice a change immediately, others over a period of weeks, months, or even years. For some people, however, death and leaving their physical bodies is an unavoidable part of their journey at this stage. As with any healer-medical, spiritual or otherwise-no guarantees can be given.
Will my healing be instantaneous?
In some cases there are instantaneous changes. In most cases, however, it takes time for the cellular and molecular changes to take place in the body. It may also be that the spiritual or emotional aspects of a person need to be healed before the physical symptoms can be healed. Just as with normal surgeries, it takes time to recuperate and recognize the improvement. This can take months, years, and may even require repeated treatments. A necessary prerequisite of any healing is strict adherence to the post-healing instructions.
What scientific proof is there that this works?
There have been no comprehensive scientific studies of Medium Joćo's work to date. Several books and documentaries are available. According to St. Ignatius, the founder of the Jesuits, "For those who believe, no words are necessary. For those who do not believe, no words are possible."
Can I get a refund if I have to stay away after a spiritual intervention?
No refunds will be given.
What is blessed water?
Blessed water is water that has been blessed by the Entities. It creates a link between them and you. Blessed water will be provided throughout the event and will be for sale for you to take home with you. You are encouraged to drink as much blessed water as you can for at least four days after your session. You can dilute the blessed water at a ratio of 1:5 with regular water and let it stand for at least 8 hours to create a new batch. Do not chill blessed water. What is a Crystal Bed session?
During a crystal bed session, participants lie on a normal massage table for a short period of time while light is pulsated through a set of specially cut crystals suspended above their body. The treatment is non-invasive and very therapeutic. For more information refer to www.crystallightbed.com. Crystal bed healing will be available for an additional fee at the event.
What does spiritual intervention mean?
Some participants will be scheduled for a spiritual intervention. This is a noninvasive process. You will be asked to sit in a room with other participants and you will be guided through the entire process, which can take anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes. You will be asked to sit in silence with your eyes closed and then place your right hand on any specific area you wish to have healed. If you have more than one area or are unsure of the area, put your right hand on your heart. Medium Joćo will come in during this time and the Entities will carry out the healing.
What do I do after the spiritual intervention?
After the spiritual intervention is complete, you will be given post-healing instructions. These instructions specify how to conduct yourself for a period of time after the intervention to get the maximum benefit from what has transpired.
Do I really have to abstain from sex for 40 days if I have a spiritual intervention?
Yes. This healing work happens in your energetic body field in much the same way as Chinese medicine works with qi and Vedic medicine works with Kundalini. As your energy fields are wide open after a spiritual intervention, they can easily be blocked again or inadvertently contaminated with another person's energy.
What does no sex include?
It includes any and all forms of arousal of sexual energy-including intercourse, masturbation, and conscious fantasy.
May I have other alternative health treatments after my spiritual intervention?
No. It is highly inadvisable to have other energetic or manipulative treatments within 50 days of your spiritual intervention. This is to avoid any treatments interfering with the work that has been done by the Entities. Treatments that are not recommended within the 50 days include deep tissue massage, manipulation, or any energy work. If you need ongoing specific treatment, or your profession involves bodywork, ask for clearance from the Entity to continue your work. You can do this when you pass the Entity for the final time.
Does having this treatment mean that I can give up my current medication or medical treatment?
No. The Entities are adamant that under no circumstance should you stop taking any prescribed medication or cease working with your existing medical practitioner. It must be emphasized that participating in this event with Medium Joćo is a spiritual practice and cannot in any way replace treatment or diagnosis by a medical practitioner. Do not stop any medical treatments or ongoing medication.
Why no lifting of heavy objects after the spiritual intervention?
With many conventional medical procedures, patients are recommended not to do any heavy lifting to avoid damage to the recently treated area. It is the same with this work. Some people will actually be able to feel the site where the healing is taking place—others will not. Either way, it is recommended you not lift anything heavy for 8 days.
Can I have visible surgery like at the Casa?
No. United States law prevents Medium Joćo from doing any visible surgeries. The Entities stress that it makes no difference to the healing process whether you have visible surgery or a spiritual intervention.
