Do you want to transform yourself into someone who is more resilient, creative, and alive? Photo prayers use photography, personal memorabilia, and objects to form a visual map of who you are, and who you most desire to be. You don’t need any special equipment or prior experience in art or photography to create a photo prayer. Instead, be prepared to experiment and have fun in a creative and supportive atmosphere, where you can envision exactly what you want to see when you look at your body, mind, and soul. Guided by Norma Brown Hill, we spend our week finding, photographing, and creating inspiring imagery. We use photo transfers with Fuji film, other artistic techniques, our own thoughts and prayers, and words and images from other sources to create our own unique photo prayer. We also enhance our work with pastels, watercolor, stamps, glitter, and other mixed media. When complete, our photo prayer can be hung on the wall or displayed on any flat surface to joyously remind us of the vision we have for ourself. Bring a camera, if you have one, and photographs and/or personal memorabilia, if desired.Norma Brown Hill, a native New Yorker, world traveler, and seasoned photographer, began her photographic journey almost 30 years ago. She has had numerous exhibitions in the United States and abroad, and teaches workshops worldwide. artnsoul-online.com |
