| Nataraja: The Yoga of a Dancing Universe Shiva Rea, MA Primarily Asana General We are all born with an innate love of rhythm and movement. This movement connects us with the intrinsic flow of our life force and nataraja-the understanding that we live in a "dancing universe" of continual vibration. Beginning with prana yoga, or the experience of prana initiating yoga asanas, we engage in a yoga trance dance that flows into an exploration of free-form, breath-driven movement to liberate our creative life force and cultivate embodied freedom. We dance to the latest spin of meditative and high-energy world music as agents of positive change. Shiva Rea, MA, teaches vinyasa flow yoga worldwide. Her studies in the Krishnamacharya lineage, tantra, Ayurveda, and art infuse her approach to living yoga. As a global adventurer, she has led more than 60 retreats in Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.
