The Sacred Dance of Thai Massage

An Invitation to Awakening

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

In Thai massage, we have the opportunity to be truly present with another to heal ourself and awaken their healing. Each touch is a chance to listen, an invitation to become aware of the giver, the receiver, and the place where they connect in oneness. Every lean, stretch, palming, rocking, rotation, and acupressure point becomes a doorway to experience love, true healing, and harmony with life. When we practice Thai massage in this way, it is not just a therapeutic remedy, but an invitation to deep, lasting, and limitless realization.

Led by senior teacher Kaline Alayna Kelly, we playfully explore and practice Thai massage techniques with awareness on presence and deep body listening. We read energy pathways in ourself and others and learn techniques to release blockages so we can provide a joyful, effortless, and nurturing massage for both giver and receiver.

We come together in a special Temple Night celebration with live musicians and artists to create a sacred healing community.

Those new to Thai massage, as well as experienced bodyworkers, are welcome. $30 materials fee; include when you register. Kaline Alayna Kelly is also part of Being Yoga; August 20-22, 2010.

Kaline Alayna Kelly is a senior teacher and holds a master certification in Asokananda’s Sunshine Network of Thai Massage and Ayurvedic Bodywork in Thailand and New Zealand. She has lived and taught in Thailand for 12 years and has studied extensively with several Thai massage masters.
