Could it be that the deepest truths “are there for the mind to see in the things that God has made,” as the Bible says in Romans 1:20? Father Richard Rohr, a Franciscan priest and proponent of simple living, is convinced the Cosmic Christ—the presence of Christ in all of creation—is freely giving us messages through the wonders of the natural world, and we can learn to recognize these messages.
