Remi Ackert-Fraser
Remi Ackert-Fraser, an 8th grader, has been doing yoga all of her life. Both her parents and her aunt are yoga teachers, so she’s been on the sidelines of yoga classes for years. She and her mom, Jamine Ackert, developed mother-daughter yoga in 2008 as a way to introduce Remi to teaching yoga and to introduce yoga to young women and their moms. Remi also plays the violin and speaks French as a second language.
