Polly Young-Eisendrath, PhD, is a Jungian analyst, psychologist, author, and an engaging and imaginative speaker. An experienced clinician and teacher with a full-time practice in central Vermont, she is also clinical associate professor of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Vermont and consultant in leadership development at Norwich University.
A longtime practitioner of Zen Buddhism and vipassana meditation, Young-Eisendrath is author of 14 books that have been translated into more than 20 languages, including The Resilient Spirit, Women and Desire, The Cambridge Companion to Jung, and The Self-Esteem Trap: Raising Confident and Compassionate Kids in an Age of Self-Importance.
