Miten, originally from England, worked as a singer-songwriter-guitarist in the 1970s, opening for such groups as Fleetwood Mac and Ry Cooder, before he turned to devotional chanting. He met his wife, Deva Premal, at the Osho Commune in India.
The music of Deva Premal and Miten is an invitation into the nature of love, devotion, and consciousness. Their concerts and tantric workshops have touched the hearts of seekers across the world and their albums have topped New Age charts in Europe, Australia, and America.
