Ishwari
Ishwari has been studying and performing music since the 1970s. Her spiritual journey has been greatly influenced by the divine feminine and she is described as having “a primal female energy.” A bhakti (devotional) yoga practitioner, her spiritual practices include listening to divine guidance and chanting the divine names. Her satguru is Babaji; she studies Advaita Vedanta with Shubhra; and she works closely with Neem Karoli Baba.
Ishwari met Sruti Ram in 2004 and in 2007 they released their first CD, Fire of Devotion. They continue to perform together as SRI Kirtan and have released their first CD, Live Your Love, as SRI Kirtan in 2010.
