Spitfire poet and memoirist Mary Karr won prizes from Best American Poetry and Pushcart. Best known for her first memoir, The Liars' Club, which won the PEN Martha Albrand Award, she has written four books of poems, including Sinners Welcome, forthcoming in 2006.
