Claude Stein


Gold Record vocal producer Claude Stein has coached artists on Atlantic, Island, Elektra, Sony, Virgin, Geffen, Polygram, Warner Bros., RCA, and MCA Records. He has led voice workshops for the Juilliard School, Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, New York Actor's Institute, Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy at New York University, the New York Open Center, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Grace Spiritual Training, Nyack New Age Center, Asken Center, Paths of Light, and Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. His workshops have reached thousands of aspiring professional and amateur singers in New York, Taipei, Paris, Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Philadelphia, Nashville, Detroit, Boston, Denver, Baltimore, Chicago, and Miami.

Stein holds a bachelor of arts degree in music composition and analysis from Bard College, has studied privately with Katie Agresta, Dr. William Riley, Joseph Porello, Pat Bellanof, and Adrienne Angel, and is an associate member of The Voice Foundation (sponsored by Jefferson Medical College, American Institute for Voice and Ear Research, Academy of Vocal Arts, and the Curtis Institute of Music). He was trained in workshop leadership at the New York Actors Institute by Ellie Ellsworth and Dan Fauci.

Stein also owns and operates a recording studio in New York, where he writes, performs (guitar/keyboards), arranges, and produces demo tapes and CDs.
