Spring Washam is a meditation teacher known for bringing mindfulness-based meditation practices to youth and communities of color. She is trained as a Spirit Rock Community Dharma Leader and continues to train with Jack Kornfield at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California. Washam is a founding member and core teacher of the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, California, and leads classes, workshops, and retreats throughout the United States.
