Jane Fryer, RYT 500, is best known for her creation of Inward Bound, a high end yoga retreat business featuring a global menu of options that unite yoga and meditation with nature. She has been traveling and teaching with Inward Bound since 1991 and has been featured in many publications, including the Washington Post, the New York Times, and Yoga Journal.
Jane Fryer’s yoga studies began in the 1970s at Kripalu. She has since studied Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Anusara yogas and is a multicertified instructor. She is currently primarily influenced by Anusara’s positive approach to yoga and life on and off the mat. Fryer is also an expert teacher of restorative yoga and vipassana meditation. Her experience as an acupressure massage therapist informs her hands-on adjustments and her lifetime experience as an astrologer colors her class themes.
Together with her husband, Fryer is cocreator of Heartwaves, a development that hosts travelers in Nosara, Costa Rica.
