Since 1975, DuQuette has served as an administrative officer of Ordo Templi Orientis, one of the most influential and controversial magical societies of the 20th (now 21st) century. He is an acknowledged authority on the life and works of Aleister Crowley, the Ordo Templi Orientis’ most celebrated and notorious leader, and since 1994 has served as United States deputy grand master for Ordo Templi Orientis.
