Jeff Levin, LMT, NMT, is a licensed and certified massage and neuromuscular therapist with more than 25 years experience, and a licensed reflexologist. A former coordinator of medical massage and hands-on therapy at Lemuel Shattuck Memorial Hospital’s Pain and Stress Relief Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts, Levin specializes in stress injuries, chronic pain issues, and sports-related problems. He maintains a private practice at the Market Street Health Center in Brighton, Massachusetts, and on Martha’s Vineyard.
Levin’s work is informed by almost three decades of experience in teaching and integrating various body-oriented approaches, such as qigong, meditation, stretching techniques, acupressure, and self-massage. His many years of professional training have equipped him to individualize his work for each client, drawing from a combination of massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point and myofascial release, and hand and foot reflexology.
Jeff Levin has taught in the continuing education program at The Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He regularly presents couples massage workshops at the Omega Institute (where he was head chef in 1982), Rowe Camp and Conference Center, and numerous other holistic venues. He has led countless trainings in massage and stress reduction in schools and holistic centers since the 1980s.
