Linda Lalita Winnick
Linda Lalita Winnick is owner of Shakti Yoga of Woodstock, Saugerties, Kingston, and Boiceville New York. She has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and incorporates her background in Ayurveda (Indian medicine), holding a master’s degree in Ayurveda, and yogic philosophy and science. She synthesizes multiple traditions and styles of yoga with emphasis on proper alignment and body mechanics. Winnick teaches thousand of classes to all levels of students, including those with special needs and physical limitations. She also teaches two levels of teacher training annually. Her enthusiasm and humor are contagious.
