Getting to Blue Spirit Retreat

Blue Spirit Retreat is in the town of Nosara in northwestern Costa Rica. There are two international airports in Costa Rica. Save big when you book your flights and rent a car on Expedia.com!

1. Liberia International Airport (LIR) is located in northwestern Cost Rica, about two hours' drive from Blue Spirit Retreat. From here you have two options for getting to Blue Spirit Retreat:

• Omega offers a shuttle service to and from Liberia International Airport (advance reservations are necessary; see below).
• Rent a car and drive yourself, though a car is not needed during your stay. A large section of road from the airport to Blue Spirit Retreat is unpaved, so be prepared for a bumpy ride.

2. San Jose International Airport (SJO) is located about 20 miles outside of San Jose, Costa Rica's capital city. From here you have several options for getting to Blue Spirit Retreat:

• Fly to Nosara, Costa Rica with Sansa Airlines, a 35-minute flight. It is usually best to spend the night in San Jose and take the next morning flight to Nosara, Costa Rica. From the Nosara airport you can take a taxi to Blue Spirit Retreat.
• Take a taxi to the Pavas Airport (a 20-minute ride) and fly to Nosara with Nature Air . It is usually best to spend the night in San Jose and take the next morning flight to Nosara. From the Nosara, airport you can take a taxi to Blue Spirit Retreat.
• Hire a mini-van with a driver to drive from San Jose (advanced reservations are recommended; see below). The drive is approximately 4 to 5 hours.
• Rent a car and drive to Blue Spirit Retreat. A car is not necessary during your stay, but rental cars and bicycles are available in Nosara, Costa Rica for those who want to explore the area.

Ground Transportation

Omega offers a shuttle service to and from Liberia International Airport. It is approximately a two hour drive from the airport to Blue Spirit Retreat.

• Shuttle service is available only on the scheduled arrival and departure dates of your program.
• Shuttle times are based on flight arrival and departure times. You are required to provide Omega with your travel information and Omega will contact you two weeks prior to your arrival with exact shuttle times.
• The cost of the shuttle is $50 each way.
